I am trying to trace Staff Sergeant Donald Marshall, who served during World War II at RAF Bassingbourne, from approximately 1944 through to 1945 in the air force. With him there was his younger brother Douglas Marshall and a friend Larry, surname unknown, who was killed in 1945. I believe Donald to have been around 25 in 1945. I am looking to try and trace Donald or Douglas and find out what happened to them. I am writing a history of the Tricker family who were great friends with them at the time (my wife's family) and they all talk with great affection of evenings spent at the Cock Hotel generally having a good time. Also anyone who can fill in some of the history of the US involvement at this base during the war would be a great help.

After we rotated back to the States, I received one letter from him sent from Moody AFB, Georgia in October of 1967 and haven't heard from him since. As far as I know, George's last known home of record was Norfolk, Virginia. He would be about 56 years old as of 2004.

Hi, I hope you or somebody here can help us. My Uncle who is 84 yrs old, named William Purton is trying to locate an old military friend, Charles (L.?). Moss from USAF - time frame - 1941-1945. They were both stationed together at Liberal Field, in Kansas and again at Kelly Field. My Uncle and his friend, Charles (L.?). Moss remained in contact until a year or two ago and he would very much like to see if we can find him, or any news about him. During World War II, my Uncle's name was Staff Sgt. William Purton. Until a couple of years ago we know that he lived in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Thank you very much in advance for anyone that can give us some information!

Captain Pat McCreadie (male) and Family - UK at RAF/USAF Upper Heyford; Early/mid 1970s
Am trying to re-connect with (last known rank) Captain Pat McCreadie (male) and Family. They seem to have been fairly mobile over the past few decades, but the person/Family in question were once based in the UK at RAF/USAF Upper Heyford. This was during the early/mid 1970s, when Pat was a fairly young Sgt, with wife Janis, and (then) two small children .... now big people, in their own rights! Last heard of about 10 years ago (?) when Pat had reached Captain ... and I lost their letters! Anyway, maybe they will see this, or someone else who knows them/knew them at Upper Heyford might even remember those 'daze' in Woodstock's watering holes - like the 'Spud Pub' and the 'Rose-n-Crown' or, was it the 'Black Prince' .......?

I met him in Feb. 2003 in Metz, and he ranked as a Captain (he used to fly a helicopter) I think he was in the 52nd Fighter Wing in Spangdahlem. (or in Ramstein then). He is 40, tall, drives a Grand Cherokee, lives in a bachelor house outside the base, and has a black and white Spaniel cocker. Since I do not have his middle name, it is very difficult to get back in touch with him.

I would like to find David B. McKeag, Jet Engine Mechanic. He was my supervisor, 1682 ALCE, Tiger Beach (King Fahd Intl Airport), Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Would love to find out what happened to him. He was excellent and we performed many C-5 maintenance miracles on night shift. Anybody else from the 1682 crew from that time would be enjoyed as well.
